London jeweler Theo Fennell has what it calls a Gilded Youth program, which recognizes the work of jewelry design students. This year’s winning entry was designed by Lukas Grewenig. His pendant was supposed to represent how a goldsmith assesses a gem by placing it between their index and middle finger. However, those not in the jewelry business saw something completely different. Instead of fingers, most saw lips of the lady parts variety. One commenter wrote, “I know what it’s supposed to be, but this def looks like a pierced vagina.” For those wanting a closer look, the piece will be on display at the company’s store in London this week.
