Sept. 6 (UPI) — Police in Australia shared video of an unusual traffic stop that led to an officer discovering the driver’s seat was actually a rolled-up mattress.

The Queensland Police Service said the Toowoomba Road Policing Unit stopped the vehicle about 4:10 p.m. Monday and the 30-year-old driver admitted to the officer that his driver’s license had recently been revoked.

The officer soon discovered the front seats of the car were missing, with the driver and his female passenger instead sitting on rolled-up foam mattresses.

“The car was impounded and the 30-year-old Harristown man [was] charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving of a vehicle without a license,” police said.

The man is due in court Oct. 16.
