“Mother Mary” Leads Police on Chase

Connie Lynn Allen led Kentucky State Police on a high-speed chase Saturday afternoon on Interstate 65. After reaching speeds of up to 125 mph, police finally stopped Connie, who refused to exit her vehicle until officers broke one of the windows. When Connie finally emerged from the vehicle, she identified herself as Mother Mary and told troopers she was on her way to pick up baby Jesus and had authority from God to drive the way she did. Officers begged to differ and placed her under arrest while news reports amazingly made no mention of drugs.
