Adam Scott Writes Captions For New Yorker Cartoons

Sometimes the captions that accompany New Yorker cartoons are so inscrutable and deadpan it’s hard to tell whether the artist meant the panel to be humorous at all, or if they were trying to be enigmatic on purpose.

So in an effort to make The New Yorker‘s comic strips funnier and more accessible to all actor and comedian Adam Scott tried his hand at coming up with captions for New Yorker cartoons, as part of their cartoon-caption contest.
